Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-08-17 (draft)

1. Agreement to terms

By creating a paytrack account or using paytrack.ng, you agree to these terms. If you’re accepting on behalf of a business, you’re confirming you have authority to do so.

2. What paytrack is

paytrack is a finance and payment-tracking platform — customer records, payment plans, contribution groups, Daily Contributions, and related reporting. paytrack is not a bank. Supported online collection flows are processed by Paystack and are intended to settle to the configured account for the relevant workspace or beneficiary. Any separately labelled manual payment or payout action records an external transaction and does not itself move money.

3. Accounts

You’re responsible for the accuracy of information in your workspace and for keeping your credentials secure. Workspace owners control who else has access and at what permission level.

4. Acceptable use

Use paytrack for legitimate business record-keeping and payment collection. Don’t use it to facilitate fraud, to collect payments you’re not entitled to, or to store data you don’t have a lawful basis to hold.

5. Payments and fees

Paystack’s own transaction fees apply to payments processed through it, separately from any paytrack subscription fee. Current plan pricing is on the pricing page.

6. Data ownership

You own the customer and business data in your workspace. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle it.

7. Availability

We aim for reliable uptime but don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance and third-party provider outages (Paystack, hosting, SMS/email delivery) can affect availability.

8. Termination

You can stop using paytrack at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or that present a security or fraud risk to paytrack or other users.

9. Liability

The specific limitation-of-liability language appropriate for a Nigerian fintech-adjacent product is one of the items flagged below for legal review, rather than asserted here as final.

10. Governing law

These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria — confirmed as part of legal review.

11. Changes

We’ll update the date below when these terms change.

12. Contact

Flagged for Nigerian legal counsel

  • • Whether paytrack’s money-movement features (contribution round disbursement, Daily Contributions payouts) require any CBN or SEC-adjacent regulatory registration given paytrack itself never holds settled DVA funds as custodian.
  • • Appropriate limitation-of-liability and indemnification language for a Nigerian-market B2B SaaS product handling third-party customer payment data.
  • • Dispute resolution mechanism (arbitration vs. courts, venue) consistent with Nigerian contract law.
  • • Consumer-protection-adjacent obligations if any workspace uses paytrack to collect from individual consumers rather than only B2B counterparties.
  • • Final governing-law and jurisdiction clause wording.
